Strategic Planning to Building Competitive Fabs

ABSTRACT

Semiconductor market is expected to grow exponentially by the end of this decade by doubling its current value that took five decades to achieve. Over 100 new fabs are needed globally to meet this growth, with advancement in Artificial Intelligence (AI) playing a major role.

Strategic and early planning has never been more vital to build these complex facilities within a relatively short timeframe.

This presentation deliberates on the challenges and explores the opportunities that fab owners can capitalize on to build competitive fabs to cater to this unprecedented demand while mitigating the accompanied environmental impacts and navigating through the current geopolitical dynamics.
