Biography
Yukihide Keigo is currently the Executive Engineer in charge of Products & Development and the Kumamoto TEC President of Sony Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation.
He started his career in 1986 as a CCD development engineer at Sony Kokubu Semiconductor Corporation, which is the predecessor of Sony Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation, and has been leading the development of image sensors for 35 years. He was appointed to Head of IS (Image Sensor) Products Division in 2012. He had been the Corporate Vice President of Sony Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation from 2016 to 2019. He is now in charge of production and development of Sony Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation as the Executive Engineer, as well as the head of the 300mm manufacturing line of Kumamoto Technology Center.
Abstract
Image sensors are expected be used in various applications such as smart phone, digital camera, automotive, industrial equipment and medical equipment. Sony has been leading the market with high image quality, multi functional and high performance devices based on Back-Illuminated CMOS Image Sensor and various unique technologies. Sony Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation is one of the world's leading manufacturing companies of the image sensor and is working on realizing Smart Factory utilizing big data analysis and AI related technologies to maintain the quality of high performance devices as well as minimizing production costs. The strategy of Sony image sensor business, leading edge technologies and state of the art manufacturing will be introduced in the presentation.
