Bio
Kris Bhaskar is a Senior Fellow/VP for AI initiatives group at KLA. The AI team leverages physics insights with data, algorithms to enable early technology exploration and incubation. The group nurtures key research programs with leading universities and vendors in AI and HPC. Kris is a graduate of IIT Madras and the University of Rhode Island. Prior to joining KLA, he worked at a startup in wafer inspection that was guided by some of the early
computer vision pioneers. His area of expertise is in AI, Image Processing, Vision, Software Architecture and HPC. His teams have engineered and architected many of the core software, algorithms and parallel computing systems that are he heart of KLA inspection systems.
