BIOGRAPHY
Todd Martin is a Predictive Maintenance Specialist with nearly three decades of experience in Industrial Automation and Systems Integration. He joined the Maintenance Team at the Nissan Smyrna TN Vehicle Production Plant in 2015 where he provided advanced troubleshooting, implementation of quality inspection systems and the design/implementation of condition-based monitoring systems (CbM). In 2018 Todd was tasked with locating a Predictive Analytics platform that could automate the monitoring of CbM data from thousands of assets with the goal of decreasing unscheduled downtime, increasing OEE and cost savings via labor reductions. “Proof of Concept” trials were performed on several software solutions. With the selection of a successful solution, Todd designed and implemented the transfer system that would transport the CbM data to the Predictive Analytics provider for analysis. Over the next several years, he has updated and improved the system to include custom interfaces with Nissan Smyrna’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This year he retired from Nissan and joined the Siemens Senseye Managed Services Team.
