BIOGRAPHY
Takahisa Amemiya serves as the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Representative Director of FICT Limited, a leading Japanese manufacturer of high-density PCBs and semiconductor substrates, headquartered in Nagano.
Mr. Amemiya assumed his current role in September 2023, bringing with him a distinguished track record in the semiconductor and technology sectors. He initially joined Fujitsu Interconnect Technologies as Chief Strategy Officer, where he played a pivotal role in the company’s transformation into an independent entity. His leadership was instrumental in the strategic rebranding and establishment of FICT Limited as a stand-alone organization, a responsibility he continues to champion as CEO, actively shaping the company’s long-term vision and strategic direction.
Prior to his tenure at Fujitsu Interconnect Technologies, Mr. Amemiya held several senior leadership positions, including Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Onsemi. He also served in key roles at IBM and Japan Display, where he was Executive Assistant to the Chairman.
Under Mr. Amemiya’s leadership, FICT has emerged as a vital contributor to Japan’s post-pandemic economic revitalization, particularly within the semiconductor value chain. He is widely recognized for his strategic foresight, operational leadership, and commitment to innovation qualities that have positioned FICT as a trusted partner to leading global semiconductor companies and a key enabler of next-generation electronics manufacturing.
