BIOGRAPHY
Peter Esser is Country Manager and Head of Advocacy & Alliances for Nexperia USA, where he leads engagement at the intersection of semiconductors, public policy, international trade, and technology strategy. With more than 25 years of experience in government affairs, legal counsel, and international business, he has represented leading semiconductor companies and major industry organizations in Washington, D.C. and globally.
Prior to joining Nexperia, Peter held senior government affairs and legal leadership positions at NXP Semiconductors and the Federation of German Industries (BDI). He specializes in navigating complex regulatory and geopolitical environments, building strategic partnerships, and advancing policies that support innovation and resilient semiconductor supply chains. Peter holds a J.D. from Southern Methodist University and is a frequent advocate for technologies that enable a smarter, safer, cleaner, and more connected world.
