BIOGRAPHY
Marco Pieters is Executive Vice President of Business Line Applications at ASML, based at the corporate headquarters in the Netherlands. Business Line Applications extends ASML’s holistic lithography solutions by developing products that work alongside the lithography systems to help them perform better and improve the patterning process.
Marco joined ASML in 1999 and during his career at ASML he has held various positions in D&E, Product Management and Program Management for multiple DUV, Holistic Litho and EUV products. Prior to his current role he was Executive Vice President of Business Line EUV NXE, which focuses on the industrialization and volume delivery of EUV systems. Previously, Marco was Senior Vice President of EUV Product Marketing and Senior Director Program Manager for Holistic Litho, which extended the capability of both DUV and EUV scanners to meet new node requirements.
Marco received a MSc in Technical Mathematics from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
