BIOGRAPHY
Hidehito Takahashi is President and CEO of Resonac, a global functional chemical company formed through the integration of Showa Denko and Hitachi Chemical. After joining Showa Denko in 2015, he became CEO in 2022 and led the creation of Resonac in 2023, driving a bold transformation including the divestiture of 13 non-core businesses and a strategic focus on semiconductor materials. A University of Tokyo graduate with an MBA from Columbia, his background spans global finance and industry. Known for his cross-cultural leadership style, he champions open communication, merit-based talent development, and cultural reform, aiming to position Resonac as a globally competitive enterprise.
