BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Sanjai Parthasarathi is a seasoned executive and board advisor with over 35 years of experience across AI infrastructure, datacenter, telecom, industrial, automotive, and consumer technology markets. He currently serves as Chief Marketing Officer of Coherent Corp. (NYSE: COHR), where he has held senior leadership roles since 2003 across R&D/product management, operations, and corporate strategy. He was appointed the company’s first Chief Marketing Officer in 2019 and has played a pivotal role in shaping strategy and guiding the company’s transformation into a global photonics leader, contributing to over 10x revenue growth through organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.
Prior to Coherent, he held senior leadership roles at Oplink Communications, TeraStor, Western Digital, and Concurrent Technologies Corporation.
Sanjai serves on the Industrial and Professional Advisory Council at Penn State University and is on the advisory boards of Ideal Power (NASDAQ:IPWR), CloudPhotonix and L&T Semiconductor Technologies. Sanjai holds a B.Tech from IIT Madras, an M.S. from the University of Virginia, and a Ph.D. from Penn State, and has completed executive education at Stanford University
