BIOGRAPHY
Charlie Polidoro is a seasoned executive with over 35 plus years of “hands-on” electrical engineering experience. Charlie has experience in the designing, programming, and testing of electronic components and circuit boards for the aerospace, automotive, medical, and data center industries. In recent years, Charlie has been specializing in using Python with open-source LiDAR tools to ensure reproducible, transparent, portable, and scalable workflows.
Charlie recently participated with the 3-year "NASA HFE-7100 Replacement Assessment" that was released in June 2026. 3M’s announcement to discontinue the Novec™ 7000 series in 2022 marked need to find qualified replacements for the end of an established industrial fluid family that had been a go-to solution for data center cooling, semiconductor manufacturing, precision cleaning, vapor degreasing for critical semiconductor, aerospace, military, and industrial applications.
Charlie has long-worked with used 3M fluids in immersion cooling for data centers since the 1980s. Charlie has contributed to the “Closed-Loop Liquid Cooling Act” in the areas of Direct to Chip (D2C) and Immersion (IM) Cooling for AI and HPC systems.
Charlie has bachelor’s degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Drexel University and an MBA in Finance from West Chester University. In his free time, Charlie likes to hike in the mountains, golf, and stay involved in various charities. Charlie is a board member of a local Chapter of Habitat for Humanity where he is promoting the use of 3D robotic houses across the country.
