Tyler Lloyd, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency

Tyler Lloyd is a Risk Management Team Leader in the New Chemicals Division in EPA’s Office of Pollution Prevention & Toxics. Tyler joined the New Chemicals Division in June 2021, after serving more than five years in EPA’s Existing Chemicals Program. In his role in the Existing Chemicals Program, Tyler served as lead author and work-group manager for several existing chemicals risk management rules, including the Significant New Use Rule (SNUR) for long-chain perfluoroalkyl carboxylate (LCPFAC) chemical substances. Tyler brought his rule writing experience to New Chemicals Division where he serves as the lead rule writer managing the development of several New Chemicals procedural rulemakings. Tyler received as B.S. in biology from the University of Louisville, followed by Master of Public Affairs and Master of Science in Environmental Science degrees from Indiana University.
