BIOGRAPHY

Juan Carlos Ramos, Hewlett PackardJuan Carlos Ramos, is a Senior Manager of Engineering at HP, Inc. He leads an organization that creates, develops, and manufactures new technologies in microfluidics, with applications in industrial printing, additive manufacturing, biomedical, and others. Additionally, he is responsible of External Relations for Technology Exploration where he leads relationships with academia and is engaged on government grants and relationships, such as CHIPS Act and EDA.

Prior to his current position, Juan Carlos held several engineering roles in MEMS process development and additive manufacturing.

Before joining HP, Juan Carlos was part of Solution Deposition Systems, an early stage start-up dedicated to creating tooling to deposit conductive coatings for LED and sensors manufacturing.

Juan Carlos received his PhD in Materials science from a dual program between the University of Ciudad Juarez (Mexico) and the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). He was later a postdoctoral at Oregon State University.
