BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Vamsi Paruchuri has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. He and his teams have enabled breakthroughs for materials, process, and equipment solutions for advanced logic/foundry, DRAM, V-Nand, and emerging memory technologies. Vamsi is currently in the role of Vice President, Technology Innovation and Market Research organization at ASM. In this role, he leads Corporate R&D and Corporate marketing organizations and is responsible for forecasting the technology trends, roadmaps and inflections of the semiconductor industry and delivering on the R&D innovations in materials and processes required for future technologies.
Before joining ASM, Vamsi had a 14-year tenure with IBM Research, where he started as a Research Staff Member for High-k, metal gate materials research, and progressing to take on roles of increasing responsibilities during his tenure. Before joining ASM in 2017, Vamsi was the project leader for the IBM’s Pathfinding Joint Development Alliance which produced groundbreaking research in FinFET and GAA devices. Vamsi has a Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Utah and is a US national.
