BIOGRAPHY

Olga L. Teran has over ten years of experience in higher education, workforce development, and community engagement. Ms. Teran currently serves as the Workforce Program Manager at the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA), where she focuses on the semiconductor, aerospace, and defense sectors. In this role, she leads the planning and evaluation of workforce programs, manages strategic partnerships, and serves as a liaison to industry. She also oversees ACA’s Semiconductor Workforce Subgroup, a cross-sector coalition of over 60 stakeholders from academia, industry, government, and community-based organizations—including Amkor, Intel, TSMC, Edwards Vacuum, Nikon, and Arizona’s public universities.
Previously, Ms. Teran served as Assistant Director of Student Engagement and Special Programs at Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University, where she led student engagement and professional development strategies, built domestic and international partnerships, and managed special projects. Prior to Thunderbird, Ms. Teran worked with Access ASU connected K–12 schools, tribal nations, elected officials, and community organizations with college readiness resources, impacting hundreds of students across the state.
Ms. Teran holds a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies (Nonprofit Administration & Communications), a Master of Public Administration from Arizona State University, and an Executive Master in Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
