BIOGRAPHY
Rory Campbell is currently a Managing Director at Applied Materials working as part of the Joint Operations Leadership Team, bringing together operations groups from around the company to drive systemic company-wide initiatives in support of the overall semiconductor business. Rory first joined Applied Materials in 1995, working as a technician, building and testing the systems that make the chips that change the world. With a passion and drive for understanding the business, Rory has worked in multiple areas and functions over the past 28 years, leading both Supply Chain and most recently leading a 1000-member Manufacturing Operations team.
As a member of the LGBTQ community, Rory has led and been part of the Applied Materials PRIDE organization, focusing on ensuring all members of the company have a voice and the same opportunities.
Rory grew up in San Antonio and after high school, first attended San Antonio Junior College, then transferred to The University of Texas where she obtained a BS in Aerospace Engineering. She and her wife Lise live in Pflugerville and have 4 kids.
