BIOGRAPHY

Michelle Kiang is the Founding Managing Partner of MTM Venture Partners, a venture capital firm investing in early-stage deep tech innovations that address sustainability challenges with societal impact. She was previously Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Impact Science Ventures.
Prior to her venture capital career, Michelle founded and led three hard tech startups to their successful exits. She held the position of Vice President and General Manager at TDK after its acquisition of her company and held executive roles at Micron Technologies and NeoPhotonics in Strategy and Corporate Development. Michelle is an independent Director of ITRI International, and serves on advisory boards for private companies, universities, and science-and-technology-based incubators.
Michelle holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley and received the Campanile Excellence in Achievement Award from UC Berkeley in 2025. She earned her B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University.
