From AI to Atoms: How the Next Semiconductor Wave Will Reshape Electronic Gases

ABSTRACT

The AI revolution will create significant opportunities for electronic gases. However, winning in this landscape will depend not only on production scale, but also on the ability to innovate, adapt capabilities, and position as strategic partners within the evolving semiconductor ecosystem.

Artificial intelligence is transforming the semiconductor industry, driving significant investment while reshaping the technologies, architectures, and processes that will define its future.

But what does this transformation mean for the electronic gases industry?

Advances in leading-edge logic, HBM, 3D NAND, and advanced packaging are changing not only the volume of gases consumed but also the complexity, purity, and delivery mechanisms of the materials enabling next-generation chips.

At the same time, geopolitical shifts, supply chain regionalization, vertical integration and decentralization of decision making are redefining the competitive landscape.

This keynote will explore how these forces translate into opportunities and challenges for electronic gas suppliers – and examine the strategic choices that will determine how players position themselves within an evolving semiconductor ecosystem.
