Does the Global Economy Matter for Semiconductors?
ABSTRACT
The global economy continues to be buffeted by shocks, but remains resilient in the face of those shocks. Semiconductors similarly remain resilient, with leading edge products performing at or near record rates of growth. Both the economy and the semiconductor industry have relied to a great extent on AI-related investment. The talk will examine the global economic outlook and risks to the economy that might impact the outlook for key semiconductor markets and, ultimately, the outlook for semiconductors.
