BIOGRAPHY
Sean Fogarty, GPEC’s Vice President of International Business Development, has 24 years of international experience across a range of industries and countries of which 18 years involved international trade and investment promotion with the States of California and Washington. For 15 years, Sean led efforts to expand exports and attract foreign direct investment as the State of Washington Trade and Investment Representative in Taiwan. He also served for seven years as President of the American State Offices Association (ASOA), a grouping of all the states with Representative Offices in Taiwan leading efforts to build mutually beneficial partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
Currently, he serves as the Vice President of International Business Development at the Greater Phoenix Economic Council responsible for attracting international businesses specifically from the Asia Pacific region.
