The Glue Layer of Semiconductors: How AI Powers New Materials
ABSTRACT
The semiconductor industry is at a transformative moment, where advanced nodes, chiplets, and heterogeneous integration are redefining what devices can do. At the heart of this transformation are new materials — the critical “glue layer” that connect performance, reliability, and sustainability. AI is accelerating how these materials are designed, qualified, and integrated, enabling faster innovation cycles, higher yields, and greener manufacturing. This keynote will explore how semiconductor manufacturers, materials and equipment suppliers can harness AI-driven material innovation to push the limits of technology, enhance sustainability, and secure competitive advantage in the next era of semiconductors.
