BIOGRAPHY
Tobias Egle is an Analyst in the Technology Investment team at M Ventures, the corporate Venture Capital arm of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany. Tobias obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Chemical Engineering at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology before moving on to Harvard University for his Ph.D. studies in Physical Chemistry and Materials Science. At Harvard, Tobias worked on a startup to decarbonize critical mineral mining and joined Yard Ventures (part of Alumni Ventures) as a Fellow focusing on investment in advanced materials startups. At M Ventures, Tobias is primarily focused on investment in the semiconductor and integrated photonics space.
