Renesas Complete Sensor Solutions: Sensors for Better Living

ABSTRACT

With the Renesas industrial and environmental sensor portfolio we offer complete system solutions for our customers targeting various sensing applications. Our sensing products includes sensor signal conditioners and integrated circuits for industrial sensor interfaces as well as complete integrated solutions like air quality sensors, humidity sensors, flow sensors, medical sensors and others. Completing the solution our Microcontrollers enable our customers to build total integrated systems based on our sensors with embedded software algorithms for dedicated sensor applications. 
 

BIOGRAPHY

Roger Wendelken, Renesas Electronics

Mr. Wendelken serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of MCU Business in the IoT and Infrastructure Business Unit at Renesas Electronics Corporation and the Chairman for Renesas Semiconductor Design Beijing. Previously, he held the position of Vice President of Global Sales Division in the Broad-based Solution Business Unit at Renesas Electronics. Prior to joining Renesas, he served as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales, Intersil Corporation since October 14, 2013.

Prior to joining Intersil, he was the Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales for Volex Corporation from January 2013 to October 2013. Prior to this, Mr. Wendelken served as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales for Standard Microsystems Corporation, or SMSC, from June 2009 to August 2012, where he led the global sales organization building a presence in a variety of competitive consumer, industrial, and automotive markets for SMSC before it was acquired by Microchip in August 2012. Mr. Wendelken also served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Applied Micro Circuits Corporation from May 2006 to May 2009 and Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Marvell Semiconductor from September 2003 to March 2006. Prior to this, Mr. Wendelken held sales management roles at various technology companies from June 1994 to March 2000.

Mr. Wendelken holds a BSEE from Georgia Institute of Technology.
