KC Digital Drive Air Quality Sensor Program - Deploying Low Cost Air Quality Sensors as a Citizen Scientist/Community Engagement Project

ABSTRACT

KC Digital Drive, a civic non profit in Kansas City, will give an overview of how they use different sensors in community engagement projects.  Focus will be on an air quality sensor program where they are installing 50 low cost sensors in neighborhoods throughout Kansas City.

Jim Starcev, KC Digital Drive

Jim Starcev is a serial entrepreneur, having started and sold multiple businesses in fintech, retail and data analytics.  In addition to his startup work, he is a program manager for a Kansas City civic non profit organization working with emerging technologies and community engagement.
