BIOGRAPHY
Robert Rodriquez is a Senior Staff Engineer at dpiX. Before working as Senior Staff Engineer, Robert worked as an Engineering Technical Specialist and was responsible for leading dpiX’s research and development projects, including the development of an organic photodiode process where he has received several patents. Other accomplishments include the development of a process to incorporate an organic inter-layer dielectric to dpiX’s sensor array to improve performance and reliability and also the development of dpiX’s new polyimide coating process to replace the glass substrate for dpiX’s new sensor array products. Robert started working at dpiX in 2007 as a process engineer in lithography where he developed the initial slot-die coating and lithography process for dpiX’s Gen4.5 fabrication line.
Before working for dpiX, Robert worked for Intel Corporations’ Fab 23 in lithography where he was responsible for ramping up production of Intel’s Centrino wireless chip. Robert received a Master’s of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Houston.
