Sensing as an AI Service for Smart Home
ABSTRACT
Sensors in consumer electronics play a crucial role in improving user convenience and enhancing the user experience. The widespread application of sensors has led to the rapid development of sensor technology in recent years, resulting in the commoditization of sensors, which provide rich data. With AI technology tightly integrated with sensor data, AI sensing technology has led to various smart applications with high performance and user-centric experience. Currently, in the time of extraordinary change, AI sensing has become the key technology that enables smart consumer electronics, smart car, smart IoT, smart factory, and healthcare applications by constantly monitoring streaming data and providing contextual information. In this presentation, LG Electronics' AI sensing technologies are introduced to illustrate their contribution to LG Electronics' products by continuously monitoring streaming data and providing contextual information. Also, this presentation introduces LG Electronics' efforts to develop next-generation AI sensing solutions that provide data, information, knowledge, and even wisdom for enabling the era of Sensor as an AI Service for Smart Home.
