BIOGRAPHY
With over 30 years in the automotive industry, Kay brings deep expertise in engineering, research, product development, and marketing across the U.S. and Germany. Before joining Lucid, Kay was Vice President of Automotive at Qualcomm, where they spearheaded the company’s expansion into the automotive sector.
A recognized thought leader, Kay is frequently consulted by media and industry associations on automated driving, crash avoidance systems, and vehicle safety education. They have also provided expert testimony to government bodies, including the U.S. Congress.
Kay holds a master’s degree and a doctorate in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany.
