BIOGRAPHY
Joseph To is the Founding Member of Valley Investment Management and Portfolio Manager for the ST Aggressive Growth Fund, a long/short Fund focused on investing in small and micro cap technology stocks. Prior to launching VIM, Mr. To spent nine years with Spinner Asset Management, a long/short technology-focused hedge fund, where he invested in both public and private companies located in all major technology hubs in the US, Asia, and Europe. He was rapidly promoted from analyst to partner. He incubated the Fund within Spinner Asset Management LLC. Previously, Mr. To was a research analyst with Lehman Brothers, where he focused on internet devices and semiconductors and was part of an Institutional Investor-ranked team that won a Zack’s All-Star award for stock picking accuracy. He began his career as an equity research associate at Robertson Stephens. Mr. To holds a BSE in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
