BIOGRAPHY
Claire McAdams is the owner and managing partner of Headgate Partners LLC, the financial advisory consulting firm she founded in 2005. Claire has nearly 28 years of experience advising executives and boards in all matters related to investor relations and corporate finance, including strategic financial communications, the capital markets, fundraising and capital allocation strategies, and mergers and acquisitions. For the first half of her career, McAdams was a leading senior investment banker and head of her firm’s semiconductor manufacturing practice, executing and advising on financings and M&A transactions around the globe. Since founding Headgate Partners, McAdams has held long-term assignments with a select group of companies, providing trusted and objective executive advisory counsel focused on increasing shareholder value. She works closely with senior management and boards of directors across the spectrum: from investor interface strategy and execution, to advising on capital formation and allocation decisions, including financing transactions, acquisitions and divestitures, and shareholder return strategies such as dividends and stock buybacks.
In 2009 she co-founded the CEO Summit, which has grown into the largest and most successful investor forum for small- and micro-cap companies in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. To date, Claire has advised on over 50 financings and M&A transactions totaling over $10 billion. She contributes to her community through board positions with two local non-profit organizations.
Claire holds a BA degree in Economics and Literature, with honors, from Claremont McKenna College.
