BIOGRAPHY
Bertrand Loy has served as Entegris’ president, chief executive officer, and a member of the board of directors since 2012. He joined the company in 2005 when Mykrolis, a division of Millipore, merged with Entegris. While at Millipore and earlier at Sandoz Pharmaceutical (now Novartis), Bertrand gained international experience in strategic planning, global supply chains, and finance.
As a proven leader in the rapidly evolving global technology industry, Bertrand has a strong track record of operational excellence and both organic and inorganic growth. He has been instrumental in leading Entegris through numerous acquisitions that have strengthened the company’s product portfolio and significantly increased its scale. Since he became CEO in 2012, Entegris’ revenue has increased over 200% and profits have grown nearly 500%.
Bertrand has been on the board of directors of SEMI since 2013 and currently acts as chairman. He has served with SEMI as an influential industry advocate for the interests of the global electronics manufacturing supply chain.
Since 2014, he has been a member of the board of directors of Harvard Bioscience, Inc., a global manufacturer of a broad range of life sciences solutions and is currently the lead director.
Bertrand earned his MBA from ESSEC Business School in France
