BIOGRAPHY

Jeremy Hilton, Google

Jeremy Hilton is a deep technology leader and experienced executive with over 20 years of demonstrated success in strategic thinking, research & development (R&D), product delivery, business development, and execution at the intersection between complex technologies. Mr. Hilton has extensive experience across the full stack of quantum computing research and development, system and cloud-based product delivery, quantum applications research, and business models based on completely novel and industry-disrupting (quantum) applications.

Mr. Hilton started his career at D-Wave Systems, where he led the development of their quantum computing technology, including developing the first ever superconductor-based 200mm process in a semiconductor environment. After bringing the world's first commercial quantum computer to market, Mr. Hilton continued to lead D-Wave's quantum computing efforts through 5 generations of products, each with significant increases in processor complexity and built on ever-improving technology nodes that drove the state of the art in the field of quantum computing. In 2020, Mr. Hilton joined the Google Quantum AI team to enable Google to accelerate beyond on their 2019 demonstration of Quantum Supremacy to reach their initial target of delivering fault tolerant quantum computation with one million quantum bits (qubits) within the decade.
