These solutions run on cloud platforms which are rapidly expanding to optimize for AI applications. To meet the increasing customer demand, we must accelerate innovation in AI hardware infrastructure.
BIOGRAPHY
Reynold D’Sa is the Corporate Vice President of Microsoft’s Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering team, which is chartered to architect, develop, and manufacture the cloud hardware stack powering Microsoft’s Azure fleet.
Prior to this role, he spent 25 years in the industry developing cutting-edge, innovative products across multiple generations of processors, including direct responsibility for CPU development on the latest process technologies. These CPU silicon developments were foundational for several generations of desktop, laptop, server, and mobile products.
He specializes in building global, high-performing engineering organizations across disciplines and has significant experience transforming the hardware lifecycle for growth and scale. As a leader, Reynold is committed to fostering an inclusive team culture where a growth mindset is paramount and collaboration is encouraged.
Reynold holds a master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Cornell University, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Oklahoma State University and has been awarded 15 patents in computer system architecture. Reynold also serves as Microsoft’s Executive Sponsor for Howard University where he is partnering with faculty to develop new silicon curriculum and infrastructure to support the next generation of engineering talent.
