US Semiconductor Manufacturing A More Resilient And Sustainable Future
ABSTRACT
The global marketplace is evolving rapidly, and the ability to adapt is a defining factor between manufacturers that merely survive, and those that thrive. We have reached an inflection point where Semiconductor Ecosystem players are working to define what digital transformation means to semiconductor manufacturing. Strategies are being defined to accelerate this industry journey towards achieving Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 best-practices. Data democratization is the movement to provide easily accessible data to all consumers, regardless of their technical skill. Organizations cannot implement effective AI (Artificial Intelligence) without having a data strategy that addresses data quality, bias, diversity, and data labelling in a systematic way. Microsoft Azure solutions continue to innovate and invest in the data products for customers, partners, have come to know and trust, which will further enable customers to achieve the kind of sustained agility that allows them to pivot and adapt in real-time, add layers of intelligence to their applications, unlock fast and predictive insights, and govern their data. We must incorporate the appropriate compliance and security technologies and processes into data estate. Microsoft Cloud for Manufacturing is designed to deliver capabilities that support the core processes and requirements of the industry. These end-to-end manufacturing cloud solutions include released and new capabilities that help securely connect people, assets, workflow, and business processes, empowering organizations to be more resilient.
