Environmental Sustainability Through Collaboration

ABSTRACT

Overview of the environmental impact of the Semiconductor industry and how we need to work together through the supply chain to minimize this. Paul will be looking at two aspects of collaboration: decarbonising the grid and better environmental solutions for the fab.


BIOGRAPHY

Paul Neller, Edwards Vacuum

Paul has been with Edwards for more than 25 years, first joining in the role of development engineer in September 1995. Paul held a number of roles within new product development and lead the development of several key dry pump solutions for the semiconductor industry in the UK and South Korea. Paul moved into the Global Engineering Programme Manager role for dry pumps and integrated systems in 2015, before being promoted to Vice President of Engineering Programmes, Semiconductor in February 2017. Paul has held his current role of Vice President Marketing, Semiconductor since 2021.

Paul is responsible for delivering a market and customer-driven approach across our entire product and marketing landscape, from the market-in process, through product development planning, and marketing communications activities. 

Paul is a chartered member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Nottingham University and is based in the UK.
