Laura Peters is an executive editor for Semiconductor Engineering, a leading on-line publication that provides deep insight into high technology's greatest challenges. She specializes in wafer fab processing and yield management and has written hundreds of articles over her 2+ decades writing about semiconductor manufacturing. Peters is a former editor-in-chief of Semiconductor International magazine and has co-written two books on cost-effective IC manufacturing. She holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois.
