Democratization of Ultrasonic Medical Imaging & Challenges
Abstract:
Ultrasonic medical imaging is the only imaging modality that can be used as frequently as needed, has potential for wide spread use and in addition to diagnostic applications has several other promising uses. To enable mass adoption also requires lower cost, along with adoption of AI to deskill image acquisition and use of AI to assist with interpretation.
To realize this vision requires high level of mixed signal integration along with low power architectures that enables a fusion of Si platform and AI execution in products.
