Clayton Burns has 44 years of utility and industrial experience in areas of utility R&D, electricity metering, electric generation, power delivery, and heavy industry power and control. He currently works in National Grid’s Transmission Planning & Asset Management group, as a Principal Engineer, focusing on power quality for transmission customers, bulk energy storage applications, SEMI and IEEE standards, and multiple NYISO and NYSERDA committees. Mr. Burns is a member of IEEE and a licensed professional engineer in New York State.
