Rochelle Rivas, MPH District Director for Healthcare Education at MCCCD District Office. Rochelle has a Master of Public Health from Grand Canyon University. Her education and background is in public health. She has been with Maricopa Community College for twenty years. Ten of those years were spent at SMCC as the Bilingual Nursing Fellowship Program Coordinator. Her expertise and experience with MCCCD and healthcare programs led to her selection as the District Director of Healthcare Education in 2017. Rochelle directs the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of assigned organization-wide programs, initiatives, and related functions. She establishes and administers strategic operations for MCCCD Health Care Education programs to meet student, faculty, and community employer needs. Her work has streamlined Health Care Education system processes district-wide, benefiting faculty, staff, and students.
