Jennifer Lynn is a seasoned cybersecurity and crisis management professional with over 20 years of experience leading high-profile technical investigations and securing critical assets for both commercial enterprises and government organizations.
Her 16-year career in the U.S. federal government includes roles as an active-duty service member, contractor, and senior civilian leadership positions. She then spent seven years in the Middle East, where she joined IBM as the X-Force Cybersecurity MEA Lead. Upon returning to the Washington, D.C. area, Jennifer shifted her focus to the unique cybersecurity challenges facing the semiconductor industry and leads the IBM Research Security Program for IBM Semiconductors.
Forming a partnership with NIST, she now leads a SEMI cohort of cybersecurity professionals dedicated to developing the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 Semiconductor Community Profile strengthening security across the global semiconductor supply chain.
In addition to her industry leadership, Jennifer has taught graduate-level courses at The George Washington University, serves on the board of a nonprofit children’s charity, mentors rising cybersecurity professionals, and is a U.S. Army Military Police veteran.
