Senior Vice President BioCrossroads
Doug Kiehl is currently Senior Vice President at BioCrossroads, with responsibilities including Workforce Development and Chief Technology Strategist. In his most recent role prior to joining BioCrossroads, he served as Senior Director at Eli Lilly and Company where he created and led the Disruptive/Transformative Technologies Team (DT3) and Digital Twin Center of Excellence with focus on digital transformation, automation, extractables/leachables and next-gen bioprocess. He serves as a member of the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) Packaging and Distribution Expert Committee, Chair for the Product Quality Research Institute (PQRI) Steering Committee, Chair for the Digital Twin Consortium Pharma Industry/Regulatory Working Group and Executive Governing Council for the Nano-Bio Materials Consortium (NBMC/SEMI). Doug also serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Molecular Pharmaceutics at Purdue University. He has published his work in several peer-reviewed and trade journals, and has organized, chaired and presented at numerous conferences.
