Mr. Christoph HAIST, Vice President, Site Head of Plant Singapore, Infineon Technologies Asia Pacific

Christoph Haist leads about 1200 employees at Infineon’s Global Test Competence Hub and manufacturing plant in Singapore. Christoph played a key role in introducing advanced manufacturing based on the principles of Industry 4.0 to the Singapore plant and continues to drive its transformation to become a smart factory and a great place to work.

Christoph started at Infineon Technologies as a Financial Analyst in 1999 directly after graduating from university. In the last 21 years at Infineon, he has held diverse functions in Finance and Controlling, M&A and Product Marketing at the Munich Headquarters and in Singapore. On his second assignment in 2014 to Singapore Christoph assumed the role of Senior Director Head of Finance for Test Singapore and was assigned to VP as Head of the Plant in 2020.

Christoph has a degree in Economics from the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. He is married and has two daughters.

The first wave of revolution at the Infineon Singapore plant began with the Test Excellence Program in 2011, which formed the strong foundation for the digital transformation. With the launch of Smart factory pioneer initiatives in 2017, Infineon Singapore is pioneering the digital, horizontal and vertical integration of the manufacturing value chain following the principles of Industry 4.0. The introduction of Smart factory enables Infineon Singapore to attain its vision of becoming a fast and agile manufacturing enterprise by automating, connecting and controlling the 4 Ms (Man, Machine, Material and Method) using smart solutions based on automation, IoT , Big Data technologies and Skills Future. Moving forward, Infineon Backend Singapore continues to drive transformation with higher focus on Artificial intelligence and other disruptive ideas.
