Dr. Gaurav Gupta is a Vice President Analyst at Gartner with the semiconductor and electronics team covering entire supply chain of chip manufacturing and design, including AI-based analytics for the semiconductor industry. He closely follows current technology, geo-political, and economic trends across the semiconductor industry and has published research across a range of topics. Dr. Gupta's research and advisory area also focusses on business models and technology aspects of autonomous vehicles. He actively engages with various ecosystem players in this space.
Prior to joining Gartner, Dr. Gupta worked as a Knowledge Expert at McKinsey & Co. where he advised clients across the globe in the semiconductor and electronics industry with a focus on business transformation (cost, operations, and growth) and product strategy (launch/development/planning). He has a strong technical background in the semiconductor industry in process, yield, and integration, having worked at Intel, IBM and GlobalFoundries prior to the stint with McKinsey & Co.
