BIOGRAPHY
Fran Dillard is vice president and chief diversity inclusion officer (CDIO) at Micron Technology. Micron is a world leader in innovative semiconductor memory and storage solutions and has more than 43,000 team members in 17 countries. In her role as CDIO, Fran oversees the global diversity programs, strategy and solutions that support the company’s mission to enrich life for all. Her responsibilities also include overseeing Micron’s global employee relations team. Fran is committed to unleashing inclusion in the workplace to create breakthrough innovation.
She brings over two decades of executive leadership experience across multiple industries in global diversity enterprise strategy and HR. Fran is a member of the Aspen Institute’s Tech Accountability Coalition and the Alliance for Global Inclusion, organizations combining the collective power of industry to accelerate workplace inclusion. She also sits on the board of i4cp, a leading authority on next practices in human capital. Fran was recently named one of the Most Influential Executives in Diversity & Inclusion 2023 by Savoy Magazine and one of Diversity Global Magazine’s 2022 Top 15 Champions of Diversity and Inclusion.
Fran earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations and executive MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington. Fran deeply believes in smart collaboration and courageous leadership as key drivers for DEI progress. She is a natural problem-solver, focused on operational excellence, who finds inspiration from this James Baldwin quote: “Not everything that is faced can be changed; but nothing can be changed until it is faced.”
