Use of Gigahertz Ultrasound Imaging and Artificial Intelligence to Improve Printed Electronics

Abstract

Gigahertz ultrasound imaging is able to measure ink properties as the ink is deposited and dries.  These properties, along with the geometry of the design and the process parameters of the printer, can be the input to artificial intelligence algorithms which have the potential to predict what the printer will create.
