Harnessing Semiconductor For transformational Advancements in HealthTech
Abstract
With the ever-growing proliferation of artificial intelligence/machine learning solutions, a wide range of applications are emerging across broad range of sectors. The backbone of such AI/ML solutions are the semiconductor accelerators, chips that optimize the execution of AI/ML functions. This includes domain-specific architectures, upon which the semiconductor accelerators are built. Post Covid, the global urgency to advance Healthcare and Medical Technology (MedTech) has become critical as has the need to make supply chain more resilient, creating global opportunities. MedTech must and is emerging as the leading field to benefit from both the tech convergence and the shifting dynamics in healthcare. This transformation will support, development of novel medical devices, effective early diagnostics, cutting-edge software Thus, contributing to prevent, monitor and treat diseases to improve global healthcare. Convergence, cooperation and coordination is essential amongst tech, innovation, policy, entrepreneurship, and risk capital to support and accelerate the execution. This panel will discuss the comprehensive ecosystem built out approach is required to make the most of this transition.
