Sr. Manager, ESDA - SEMI
Paul started as a chip designer in various systems companies in the Northeast, until transitioning to the Electronic Design Automation and Semiconductor Intellectual Property industries, which develops the tools needed to design complex chips and supported chip design projects at numerous semiconductor companies. Paul was also involved in the formation of the Massachusetts Microelectronics Center, an industry, government, and university consortium to advance semiconductor engineering in the Commonwealth. He eventually joined M2C where he worked closely with university faculty in Massachusetts and the University of California at Berkeley to help move chip design methodologies to a new level.
Paul ultimately joined the Electronic System Design Alliance, ESDA, an organization of EDA and SIP companies formed to address common technical and business issues. The ESD Alliance became part of SEMI as a Technology Community in 2018.
Paul has 6 patents related to chip design as well as numerous publications.
