Oncologist Associate Chair of Digital Health Mayo Clinic
Nandita Khera is a Professor of Medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and a Consultant in the Division of Hematology/ Oncology at Mayo Clinic Arizona. She treats patients with hematological malignancies and some solid tumors, especially those needing blood and marrow transplant (BMT) and or cell therapy (CT). She has published several papers in outcomes and quality of care in cancer patients. She has held leadership positions in the various committees in organizations/ societies in hematology and BMT. In her role as Associate Chair for Remote Patient Monitoring/Digital Health in the Department of Medicine at Mayo Clinic AZ, she works closely with various stakeholders at and outside of Mayo Clinic to help promote the use of innovative technologies to address patients’ needs and improve outcomes. She teaches classes as part of the high value cost conscious care curriculum at Mayo medical school and is a faculty at large in the Science of Health Care Delivery (SHCD) Curriculum Subcommittee.
