In 2018, Jack Twiddy received his master's degree in Integrated Manufacturing Systems Engineering with an emphasis in advanced manufacturing and microfabrication, along with a graduate minor in Electrical Engineering and a graduate certificate in Nanosystems Engineering. He received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering in 2025, with an additional graduate minor in Molecular Biotechnology and a certificate in Literature, Medicine, and Culture. He has co-authored over 16 research publications in the areas of wearable sensing and stimulation electronics, electrochemical biosensors, stimulation systems for stem cell culture, energy harvesting, and the bioethics of emerging medical technologies. Jack is a member of Tau Beta Pi, the Society for Electroanalytical Chemistry, the Society for Biomaterials, and the Biomedical Engineering Society. As a certified AEMT, he is passionate about translational medical device development and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to benefit patient care.
