Chief Administrative Officer, ASE
Dr. Du-Tsuen Uang serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of ASE Technology Holding Co., Ltd. (ASEH), overseeing global administrative functions, risk management, and corporate sustainability strategies. He is also a Director and General Manager of ASE Social Enterprise, where he actively drives corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development initiatives.
Additionally, Dr. Uang serves as a Director and Executive Director of both the ASE Environmental Protection and Sustainability Foundation and the Chang Yao Hong-Ying Social Welfare & Charity Foundation, remaining dedicated to advancing environmental sustainability and philanthropic causes to expand ASEH’s positive social impact. Leveraging his extensive governance expertise, he also serves as a Managing Independent Director of a commercial bank.
Prior to his corporate roles, Dr. Uang was a Professor and Dean of the School of Law at Ming Chuan University, where he now serves as an Honorary Professor. He also previously served as a Commissioner of the Fair Trade Commission, Executive Yuan. His academic and professional expertise encompasses Fair Trade Law, Intellectual Property Law, Technology Law, Financial Regulations, and Corporate Governance.
