Allen Waziri, MD is a neurosurgeon and translational neuroscientist. He is CEO and Co-Founder of iCE Neurosystems, a commercial-stage neurotechnology startup delivering a comprehensive device-and-data platform to optimize brain care in patients suffering from critical illness. Prior to launching iCE Neuro, Dr. Waziri was a highly recognized intracranial surgeon and early adopter of emerging technologies for tumors of the brain and skull base. His research has focused on exploring opportunities for immunotherapy in patients with malignant brain tumors as well as optimization of devices designed for brain monitoring in the ICU. He has served in Board and Advisory roles for a wide range of medical device and biotechnology companies in the neuro space, providing guidance on product development, technology optimization, clinical trial design and regulatory/commercial translation. In parallel to his professional activities, Dr. Waziri lives with his family in Washington DC and is an avid fan of electronic music.
