Support semiconductor talent development at SEMIEXPO Viet Nam 2026
Support the next generation of semiconductor talent at SEMIEXPO Viet Nam 2026 through programs designed to connect students with industry learning, real-world exposure and career pathways.
Workforce Development partners can engage future engineers through TECH Zoomers Bootcamp, TalentCONNECT, SEMIEXPO Discovery Quest, the TECH Zoomers Final Competition and SEMI SEA Talent Alumni Network sharing. These activities create opportunities for companies to support student learning, strengthen industry visibility and contribute to Viet Nam's growing semiconductor talent pipeline.
Program Overview
Two ways for students to engage with the semiconductor industry
SEMIEXPO Viet Nam 2026 Workforce Development programs give engineering and semiconductor-related students opportunities to learn from industry professionals, explore semiconductor technologies and connect with career possibilities across the ecosystem.
3-4 December 2026
SEMI TECH Zoomers Bootcamp
A two-day program for 80 Vietnamese Year 3 and Year 4 engineering and semiconductor-related students. Participants will take part in semiconductor learning, the TECH Zoomers Challenge, mentoring and industry visits.

TalentCONNECT
A large-scale student engagement program for 200 Vietnamese students, including 80 TECH Zoomers Bootcamp participants and 120 additional students. The program includes SEMIEXPO Discovery Quest, the TECH Zoomers Final Competition and SEMI SEA Talent Alumni Network sharing.
TECH Zoomers Bootcamp
Student teams will take part in a structured challenge journey, supported by industry mentors and assistant mentors, before presenting their solutions at SEMIEXPO Viet Nam 2026.

27–30 Nov 2026 | Virtual MentoringMentors review proposed solutions and presentations, with feedback for refinement. |
3 Dec 2026 | Mentor Pod Semi-FinalSixteen teams pitch within mentor pods. One finalist advances from each pod. |
4 Dec 2026 | Final CompetitionThe top four teams present their final solutions, followed by judging and awards. |
How student teams and mentorship are structured
8 Universities | 16 Teams | 80 Students | 5 Students / Team |
Each university is expected to form two same-university teams of five students. Multidisciplinary teams are encouraged.
Competition and mentorship format
Mentor Pod Semi-FinalTeams pitch within assigned mentor pods. One finalist is selected from each pod to advance to the final round. | Final CompetitionThe top four teams present their final solutions at SEMIEXPO Viet Nam 2026, followed by live judging and awards. |
Industry MentorsIndustry mentors provide context, challenge assumptions and guide project and pitch refinement. | Assistant MentorsAssistant mentors support team coordination, student confidence and language clarification where needed. |
TECH Zoomers Challenge Prizes
The TECH Zoomers Challenge recognizes student innovation, teamwork and the next generation of semiconductor talent.
Champion VND 20,000,000The champion team will also receive direct entry to the Chip the Future Challenge™ Southeast Asia Top 5 virtual international competition. | Finalist Excellence Awards VND 5,000,000Awarded to each of the three remaining finalist teams in recognition of their ideas, effort and final presentations. |

SEMIEXPO Discovery Quest brings students into the SEMIEXPO Viet Nam 2026 environment through conference learning, exhibition exploration and guided student engagement activities.

Conference First
Students begin with the assigned conference session before moving into exhibition engagement and SEMI SEA channel connection.
Purple Route
Discovery First
Students begin with exhibition engagement, identify one career-related takeaway, then connect with SEMI SEA channels to complete the Quest.
Students who complete the required Quest activities will be eligible for gift redemption.
TalentCONNECT
Connect with emerging semiconductor talent, discover future career possibilities, and experience the excitement of the TECH Zoomers Challenge at TalentCONNECT.
